1) Post your favorite lyrics, poem, or quote for this week.
my favorite quote is, where start is not as important as where you finish.
2) Develop two reflection questions that you would ask your students at this point in the course if you were a UN100 Professor.
How do you feel abou this course, and would you recomend it to incoming freshmen?
3) What are you passionate about? Why?
Sports, Because i love to stay fit and active, and i don't like sitting around. I am also very competitive.
4) How are you going to finance your three years of the Radiology program? If you will be in debt from student loans at the end, calculate roughly how much you will owe upon graduation.
I am going to use student loans and have my parents help me, and i'm going to work as much as i can. I guessing that i will owe about $35,000 to $40,000 by the time i'm done.
5) Have you changed your mind or do you have any new concerns about your program of study after our guest speakers today (Dr. Foley & Joanne)? Are you thinking of a different major or are you dead set on Radiology? What behavior(s) will you maybe have to change in order to keep up with and make the cut?
The only things that i would have concerns about, would be that i don't have good enough grades to get into the program. I am not thinking about a different major right now, i am pretty set on Radiography, but if i keep applying and not getting in then i might think about changing my major. I will have to cut out the social life a lot more, and start going to the library and studying alot to get my grades up.
6) FAST FOOD NATION (You should be reading through Chapter 7 at this point)

What do you feel this course (UN100) should focus on?
I think that this course should focus on helping students make the change from high school to college, because college is a whole new level. Some people can't handle the change and end up dropping out, then where do they end up with their life. This class allows students to learn new study habits that they never had to use in high school. I also think that it is good to read books to get your mind flowing, but i think this class should just stick to the freshman seminar book, because that has a enough work out of it to keep me busy.
What do you need help in, specifically?
I need the most help in studying, and not waiting until the last minute to do all of my homework because then it all gets crammed in, and then it's not as good as it should be. I need to at least read over my notes everyday, instead of just on the weekends. If i read them everyday then i will retain the information better and will do better on the exams.
