What do you feel this course (UN100) should focus on?
I think that this course should focus on helping students make the change from high school to college, because college is a whole new level. Some people can't handle the change and end up dropping out, then where do they end up with their life. This class allows students to learn new study habits that they never had to use in high school. I also think that it is good to read books to get your mind flowing, but i think this class should just stick to the freshman seminar book, because that has a enough work out of it to keep me busy.
What do you need help in, specifically?
I need the most help in studying, and not waiting until the last minute to do all of my homework because then it all gets crammed in, and then it's not as good as it should be. I need to at least read over my notes everyday, instead of just on the weekends. If i read them everyday then i will retain the information better and will do better on the exams.

At the end you tell me what you need to do and that is important: realizing what needs to be done. Now, do it! :) I know, that is easier said than done. We will be discussing all these dilemmas in class the next few weeks.

The transition from HS to college is HUGE and I am glad you noticed because most students sail through not even thinking about it until it bites them in the a**

Hey, Girl, Hey! I totally agree with you on the whole just focusing on the book, I mean me and you already have a hard enough time doing our homework!lol. I have a really hard time with procrastination also, but what I think works the best for me is doing my homework right after the class that it is assigned. Otherwise, it would never get done. I also have a problem retaining information, and then using the information on tests. Maybe, if it would help we should do our homework together than that way we are dedicated to do it. lol Any who, ttyl! Take ur easy!
